Ryan Pierce: [Repeated] I am strong. I am powerful. I am beautiful.
  • Tiffany Haddish is 9-10 years younger than each of her co-stars, despite their characters being the same age. Fittingly, her character acts the youngest of the leads.
  • The words "Thug Life" are written on the wall of a crude, run-down motel upon the girls' arrival. "Thug Life" is a sentiment late rapper Tupac Shakur popularized during most of his rap career and he even had it tattooed across his stomach. Jada Pinkett Smith (who plays "Lisa Cooper") and Shakur were childhood friends.
  • Mike Epps' second film with Tiffany Haddish. They appeared previously in The Janky Promoters (2009).
  • Regina Hall and Queen Latifah both appeared in Scary Movie 3 (2003), though they didn't share any scenes together.
  • First film produced, written, directed by and starring African-Americans to cross the $100 million mark.
