Frank Capra III, the grandson of legendary film director, Frank Capra (Frank Capra on IMDb), has an extensive career spanning three decades and over 50 films as producer, second unit director and first assistant director. As a member of the Director’s Guild of America (DGA) since 1985, he has received three DGA nominations. Mr. Capra’s credits include serving as executive producer of The Deep End Of The Ocean starring Michelle Pfeiffer; co-producer of Warren Beatty’s Bulworth, Murder By Numbers starring Sandra Bullock, and The Darwin Awards starring Joseph Fiennes and Winona Ryder; and second unit director on the Will Smith romantic comedy, Hitch. As a long time collaborator with Rob Reiner, Mr. Capra served as Mr. Reiner’s executive producer on The Story Of Us, co-producer on Rumor Has It and The Ghosts of Mississippi, and first assistant director on The American President, A Few Good Men, Alex & Emma and North. Mr. Capra’s first assistant director credits also include My Cousin Vinny, Empire Falls, Jack Frost, Eraser, I.Q., Honey I Blew Up the Kid, Cop Out, The Dukes of Hazzard, Mighty Joe Young, and The Devil’s Advocate, just to name a few. Mr. Capra also served as co-producer on The Bucket List, starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Mr. Capra recently completed R.I.P.D. starring Ryan Reynolds, Kevin Bacon and Jeff Bridges, and Drive, starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan.
