Mirabel: (Mirabel's toucan flies out of Bruno's lair, freaked out) Quitter!
  • The first Disney animated feature film since Mulan (1998) to contain musical elements without any involvement from John Lasseter, following his departure from all of Disney's animation areas.
  • In "The Family Madrigal" production number, one of the kids is having a cup of coffee, then when they're getting all excited to see Mirabel, he says it's impossible to relax and Mirabel takes his cup and says "That's why coffee's for grownups." Not in Colombia, it isn't. Coffee in the morning is traditional for children in Colombia and other South American and European cultures.
  • Disney's 21st computer-animated film to have a G rating in Australia, after Toy Story (1995), A Bug's Life (1998), Toy Story 2 (1999), Monsters, Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003), The Wild (2006), Cars (2006), Meet the Robinsons (2007), WALL·E (2008), Bolt (2008), Toy Story 3 (2010), Tangled (2010), Cars 2 (2011), Monsters University (2013), Inside Out (2015), Finding Dory (2016), Cars 3 (2017), Toy Story 4 (2019), Soul (2020), and Luca (2021).
  • This is the first musical film composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda in which he himself does not perform any of the music, either as an onscreen performer (as in 'In the Heights') or an offscreen voice over (as in 'Moana' or 'Vivo').
  • Following a long tradition of Disney since Toy Story (1995), the movie is accompanied of a short animation movie. For Encanto (2021) it was chosen Far from the Tree (2021).
