Stylist Deborah Waknin Harwin has been making people look good for over 25 years, collaborating with top industry photographers and entertainers to put her unique stamp on the trade.

Initially Deborah’s interests lay in art history and costume design and it was on a whim and by providence that she made the move into the world of fashion styling. Working in New York, her first job just was for Maybelline when she was only 18.

Deborah eventually made the move to our neck of the woods, and here in Hollywood has lent her services to some of the biggest names in entertainment. Her distinctive sense of style coupled with her training as a costume maker delivers her a unique perspective when developing looks for her clients and has become her trademark.

Over the years she has proven herself indispensable to a wide range of talents, including Sandra Bullock, Halle Berry, Megan Fox, Sofía Vergara, and Vanessa Hudgens.

Deborah attributes her success to her sense for collaboration. She regards her jobs as joint efforts, and makes a point of listening to those she styles in order to bring out their unique personalities. This approach has earned her the loyalty of A-list celebs and made her stand out as one of the most desirable stylists in the biz.

Deborah died of cancer on March 2020, and her close friends Shannen Doherty and Sarah Michelle Gellar paid moving tributes to her.
