DC's Legends of Tomorrow
DC's Legends of Tomorrow, or simply Legends of Tomorrow, is an American television series developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Phil Klemmer, who also executive produce along with Sarah Schechter and Chris Fedak; Klemmer serves as showrunner. The series airs on The CW, having debuted on January 21, 2016, and is a spin-off from Arrow and The Flash.

Dr. Martin Stein: The Time Masters were an organization charged with protecting history from rogue time travelers, but they were destroyed. Under the leadership of Rip Hunter, we have taken up their mantle. Sara Lance, former member of the League of Assassins; Dr. Raymond Palmer, the Atom; the arsonist Mick Rory; and Firestorm, the merged super form of Jefferson Jackson and myself, Martin Stein. We are the only ones left to protect history. We are the Legends of Tomorrow.
- Summer Glau, Morena Baccarin, and Jewel Staite had roles in Firefly/Serenity as well as each having a role in the Arrowverse.
- The character Vixen gets introduced to the Legends in season 2 as a member of the JSA, which operated in the 1940's. However this same character was already introduced into the Arrow/Flash/Legends Universe first in her own introductory miniseries and then again in season 4 of Arrow. (She helped Oliver go up against Damien Darhk.) Her presence in the 1940's is not explained but it is possible if not likely that her story was altered due to Barry Allen's "Flashpoint."
- Mackenzie Gray plays Council Member #1/Time Master in this series. He is also the only actor to have played three different roles in live-action Superman dramatizations - all three of them villains. He portrayed both Alistair Kreig and a clone of Lex Luthor in the TV series Smallville (2001), and Jax-Ur in Man of Steel (2013).
- In season 1 episode 2, Snart calls Ray "Boy Scout", this may be a reference to Brandon Routh's previous role as Superman in Superman Returns (2006). Superman is often referred to as "Boy Scout" or "the Blue Boy Scout" by other members of the Justice League, especially Batman, due to his ingrained sense of honour and justice and his unwillingness to kill even his most fearsome enemies.
- In episode 3 of season 1, Stein says to Atom "You can't miss them, they're as big as icebergs", Atom replies "I wonder if they said that on Titanic?". Victor Garber who plays Stein previously played the designer of Titanic in James Cameron's film of the same name.
