Dana Michelle Plato (née Strain; November 7, 1964 – May 8, 1999) was an American actress and model, who was included on a list of VH1’s "100 Greatest Kid Stars" on television. She was known for portraying Kimberly Drummond on the NBC sitcom Diff'rent Strokes (1978–1986), for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination.
