Actor Colin Hanks tied the knot with publicist Samantha Bryant Saturday in Los Angeles, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.
Hanks is the son of Tom Hanks and the late Samantha Lewes, who died in 2002.
Engaged since last June, Hanks, 32, is currently starring in the indie film Barry Munday opposite Chloë Sevigny and Patrick Wilson and in a new FOX series, The Good Guys, premiering May 19.
The couple met through mutual friends, Hanks told the New York Times last year. "We had the same group of friends and knew of each other, but never paid attention to it," he said.
Until things turned romantic: "He was the perfect gentleman," Bryant told the paper.
