Daniel Barnz's Cake stars Jennifer Aniston as Claire, a member of a support group for people who are affected by chronic pain. As she learns that one of her fellow group members attempted suicide, Claire becomes obsessed with the woman's story, gets to know the woman's husband, and faces her own inner demons. Cake screened at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.
