Dr. Temperance Brennan: I don't know what that means.
  • Agent Booth has come in to contact with three people named Pelant. First in s5ep22 The Beginnig in the End the recruiter who came to Ask booth to come back to the army was named Pelant. Then, of course, Christopher Pelant, the crazed serial killer in love with Brennan. And lastly the actress playing Christine Booth in season 10 is named S. Pelant.
  • Both T.J. Thyne and Tamara Taylor have appeared on NCIS (2003) but on different episodes; 'Michaela Conlin' appeared on the series from which NCIS was spun off, JAG (1995)
  • The establishing exterior shots of the "Jeffersonian Institute" are filmed on the Exposition Park Rose Gardens side of The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
  • Bones works at the Jeffersonian Institute. There is no such place in Washington DC. However, the name is probably a play on the Smithsonian Institute. Shots of the outside of the actual Smithsonian are often used in the show also.
  • Emily Deschanel finished shooting the first part of Season 7 on September 19th. She went into labor the next day, giving birth to son Henry on September 21st.
