Annapolis
Annapolis is a 2006 American drama film directed by Justin Lin and starring James Franco, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Donnie Wahlberg, Roger Fan, and Chi McBride. The film revolves around Jake Huard, a young man who dreams of one day attending the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It was released January 27, 2006 in the United States.

- At least one exterior scene taking place in Washington, DC was actually filmed on the grounds of Girard College in Philadelphia, founded in 1848.
- James Franco and Tyrese Gibson reportedly did not get along during filming. In a 2007 interview with Playboy, Gibson said that he would never wanted to work with Franco ever again, and claims that he feels the same way. Franco responded in an interview with Complex that he and Gibson had made up, or in his case, tried to make up with him after production wrapped, saying that he had nothing personal against Gibson, but guessed that there were a lot of misunderstandings.
- When appearing on Late Show with David Letterman: Episode #15.156 (2008), James Franco called this movie "horrible".
- This picture was made without the support of the U.S. Department of the Navy or the Department of Defense.
- The trailer shows a battleship exploding and people falling into a pool at what appears to be a party; neither of those things actually appear in the film.
