Angel Has Fallen
Angel Has Fallen is a 2019 American action thriller film directed by Ric Roman Waugh. It is the third installment in the Has Fallen film series, following Olympus Has Fallen (2013) and London Has Fallen (2016). The film stars Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick, Tim Blake Nelson, Piper Perabo, Nick Nolte, and Danny Huston. The plot again follows United States Secret Service agent Mike Banning as he races against time to clear his name after being framed for a drone attack on the President of the United States, Allan Trumbull.

- This film and White House Down (2013) not only had actor Lance Reddick but also had a character in the line-of-succession (either Vice-President or Speaker of the House) be sworn-in as President and are revealed to be the mastermind behind the planning.
- The first movie, Olympus Has Fallen (2013), was similar in plot to the movie, White House Down (2013) which featured Lance Reddick . Appearing in this movie makes him the only actor to participate in both franchises.
- Now Playing Podcast reviewed Angel Has Fallen. This film received one "recommend" and two "not recommends".
- At the time the film was released, many people wondered about Aaron Eckhart's Benjamin Asher character (as he had been a main character for the previous two installments). There is no mention made nor even any evidence that he was a past President. The makers of the film defended that every new action installment has to work well as a "standalone" (like James Bond 007 films) without much mention of what previously happened.
- At the time it was announced that this installment was being made, it was also rumored that Melissa Leo and Robert Forster (both of whom had appeared in the franchise's first two installments) might also return, but the rumors were false. Now, sadly, Forster will never appear in another "Has Fallen" film as he passed away in October, 2019.
