  • When Clark is exploring the museum he uncovers a round table that the Justice Society of American once used. A nice reference to King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. A round table, because all who sit at it are equal.
  • The painting on the wall that display's the members of the Justice Society of America is a play on Leonardo Da Vinci's "Last Supper" painting of Christ and His apostles.
  • The antagonism between Green Arrow and Hawkman mirrors the characters' relationship in the 70's and 80's era Justice League comic book, where Green Arrow's liberal politics were often in conflict with the conservative Hawkman.
  • This episode is counted as 2 seperate episodes. Making Season 10 episode 4 "Homecoming" the 200th episode.
  • Lois receives a package with the message "the truth shall set you free". This is a biblical reference from the gospel of John, Chapter 8, verse 32.
