Segundo Sol (English: A Second Chance) is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by Rede Globo that premiered on 14 May 2018, replacing O Outro Lado do Paraíso, and ended on 9 November 2018, with a total of 155 episodes. It is created by João Emanuel Carneiro and directed by Dennis Carvalho.

- Herson Capri was originally cast as Nestor but was deemed to young opposite Arlete Sales and José de Abreu. Francisco Cuoco was cast in the role.
- Heavily criticized for the lack of black people in its cast as the story takes place in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil - the city with the largest black population outside of Africa. Rede Globo was sued by a black NGO regarding the series' lack of representation.
- Cauã Reymond auditioned for the main role of Beto Falcão before Emilio Dantas was cast.
