The Doctor Who set at Roath Lock Studios, Cardiff has paid host to royalty with a visit from Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess Of Cornwall.

The couple, who are on a tour of Wales, met stars of the show including departing Doctor Matt Smith and co-star Jenna Coleman, who plays sidekick Clara Oswald.

Charles appeared to make the most of his visit, comandeering a Dalek and attempting to take the crowd ‘prisoners’.

The visit comes ahead of the show’s 50th anniversary in November this year, and Smith’s exit at Christmas.
