Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice's father Frank Giudice unexpectedly passed away on June 18, Joe and Teresa Giudice's crisis manager Wendy Feldman tells Us Weekly.

"Joe and his dad were chasing the dog Simba and suddenly Franco fell ill," Feldman tells Us. At this time, Feldman adds, the family is focusing on "their family right now, especially the girls."

Frank was 63 years old.

TMZ was first to report the news of Joe's father passing; the tragic news comes during the midst of Joe and Teresa's current legal battle against fraud charges, which they plead guilty to back in March.

Frank is survived by his three children -- Joe, and children Maria and Pete -- and at least four grandchildren -- Joe and Teresa's daughters -- Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana.
