Luxfero you right a full confession how you steal from Netflix, and have the audacity to attack them for pay staff during Covid. If anyone needs to "raise their standards" it is you!
The torrent sites you are scalping shows on is straight up theft. Period.
There is a difference between free and theft. One if given without the expectation of compensation the other is taking something of value without permission or reumbursement.
In case of TW, the choices where 1) spend money and time watching a show that barely reached a 6-7/10 (my personal grade), or 2) watch it for free, risk nothing at all and maybe choose if you want to pay for the whole thing as a sign of respect to the 7th art
And before you come at me with the argument of "Oh, but wouldn't you want people to pay for your work?? These people deserve your money!"...Nope, Netflix sells me something as a business, and I can choose to buy it or not buy it. Why buy the cow when you're getting the milk for free? Also, the milk is not that good that I would find it hard to live without it.
I'm about to piss off a lot of people but I must say that Netlfix shows are not about quality (the story, the art), but quantity (how many people they can get to watch even if it's a minute of the each episode, how many subscribers they can get, how many items they can sell). I see little value in that.
I pay for things that are worth my money (the the other day I bought an album from a guy that died 3 years ago becasue of incredibly good it was and the quality of his music). I must admit that if I didn't have any other way of accessing Netflix shows such as TW, I wouldn't even know it exists, nor bother to watch it.
